Complete dentures are used to restore smile and mouth function if all teeth have been lost. They are custom created and natural looking. They are fit in the patient’s mouth to take the place of the original teeth. Complete dentures are generally removable and may require adjustments in order to create a proper fit with the gums and mouth.
Your denture treatment will begin with a consultation and assessment of your oral health. Following your comprehensive examination, and the determination of the most suitable denture type, impressions and measurements of your mouth will be taken to ensure a custom fit for your dentures. A prototype of your dentures will be created for a trial fitting to check that they fit properly and look good. Your final fitting will consist of any necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit, function, and appearance. Once satisfied, the final dentures will be provided.
